Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individually tailored treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team, including nurses, psychologists, and systemic family therapists, to deliver effective treatment plans.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on complex cases and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
- Participate in regular division meetings and clinical governance meetings to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with the following qualifications and experience:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Excellent knowledge in specialty and excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
