Salary and Benefits

Compensation: £38,000 to £44,000, inclusive of typical overtime, with flexibility based on skills and experience.

Working Hours: Standard hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for the right candidate.

Overtime: Opportunities for additional hours are frequently available during weekdays (typically 5 to 10 hours, optional) and weekends, all compensated at overtime rates. Some employees have reported earnings of approximately £45,000 per year through overtime.

Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Stoke-on-Trent, with occasional international travel. The role offers a competitive salary and overtime potential, reaching up to approximately £45,000 annually.

The position requires a hands-on engineer with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. It is a secure and diverse role within the Pumps, Valves, and Nuclear sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in workshop activities, including the assembly and repair of pumps.
  • Conduct testing of pumps to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Provide technical and sales support to affiliated companies and distributors, which may involve international travel and on-site installation and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in prototype development and new product innovation.
  • Occasional overseas travel may be required.
