Join Rotork plc as a Field Service Engineer and embark on a journey of growth and development in our thriving global Service function. As a key member of our national Field Service Engineering Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products. With a robust strategy aimed at doubling the size of our Service operations within the next 5 years, this marks an exciting period for Service professionals to become part of our growing team. You will be supported by our meticulously designed training program and a knowledgeable community of existing colleagues who are ready to assist you in overcoming any challenges that may arise. As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying faults, conducting repairs, testing and modifying actuators in the field. You will also handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts. This opportunity is ideal for a determined problem-solver who approaches troubleshooting logically and possesses the flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays. Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver essential service plans to customers and their sites
* Address technical faults and execute planned maintenance for products
* Identify faults, conduct repairs, test and modify actuators in the field
* Handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators
* Associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts

Requirements:

* Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems or related equipment
* Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories
* Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools
* Experience of working in a practical engineering environment
* Full Valid Driving License
