Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing field-based repairs on a variety of equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair client equipment, including skips, hooks, and other machinery
  • Conduct site visits across the country to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to customers on-site and in the office
  • Maintain accurate service records and relevant paperwork
  • Ensure timely completion of breakdowns and communicate repair status to customers
  • Identify and report failure trends to management
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels on company vans
  • Comply with company engineering policies at all times
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as part of a regional team
  • Confident and polite manner when interacting with customers and service providers
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fault finding and problem-solving skills
  • Full driving license from the UK
  • Self-motivation and reliability
