Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in the Lewes District and Uckfield Area. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, including conversation, reading, and activities
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and using equipment
- Maintain accurate records of client care and support
- Guaranteed hours contracts on a range of availabilities
- Minimum one-hour visits with each client
- Above Living Wage rate of pay
- Enhanced weekend rates
- Mileage contribution and support with tax relief
- Paid travel time between clients
- Enhanced loyalty pay and retention bonus
- Double time payment for bank holidays
- Paid DBS application and training
- Paid holidays and access to Home Instead benefits
- Previous experience in care and support
- Qualifications in care and support (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
