We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HomeCareDirect. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing continuous supervision, care, and support to a charming and humorous young man with complex care needs. The role is based in Lewes, Brighton, and requires the ability to work waking night hours on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.


About the Client and Support Needed:
Our client has a variety of interests, including playing with LEGO, watching TV, and visiting museums. Despite his medical conditions, he is described as being the happiest person ever with a quick sense of humour. Your role will be to ensure his safety, accompany him to the bathroom, support during seizures, and administer medication on time each morning.

Requirements:
• An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy.
• Experience in a similar care role is essential.
• A willingness to provide holiday cover across the team.
• Prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way.
• Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
• Respect Company policies and procedures.
• Be reliable, non-judgemental, caring, responsible, compassionate, committed to confidentiality, and treat the client with dignity and respect.
