About Man Group's Finance Department

Man Group's Finance department plays a critical role in supporting the company's business and investment activities. The team is responsible for modeling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to various stakeholders, including the business and group board, equity and debt holders, and regulators.

What Will I Do on the Accountancy & Tax Graduate Programme?

This graduate programme provides a unique opportunity to gain challenging and interesting experience within a performance-driven, global active investment management business. As a graduate, you will rotate through three or four placements within Finance over a two-year period, gaining a thorough understanding of a range of financial disciplines, such as accounting, controlling, and tax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and integrate financial data to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare external reporting documents and schedules, including statutory financial statements and regulatory returns.
  • Develop and maintain finance reference data, including general ledger bookkeeping.
  • Participate in corporate and fund tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Support the annual budget process and provide financial analysis and insights to the business.
Requirements
  • Graduated within the last 2 years with a minimum 2:1 degree in a numeracy-based degree or a degree with at least one numeracy module.
  • Computer literate with MS office competency and ability to learn new systems.
  • Analytical and logical thinker with an eye for detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand risk factors and possess a strong desire to learn with self-motivation to study and complete a professional accounting qualification alongside a full-time employment.
