Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Assist the Resource Manager for Infrastructure in delivering financial oversight for the Future Maritime Support Programme and related projects.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for the preparation of forecasts and annual budget cycles, identifying potential financial risks.
  • Lead the creation and submission of monthly forecasts, ensuring compliance with management and reporting standards.
  • Oversee the planning and bidding process for Infrastructure projects, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular finance meetings with delivery teams to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Review and approve business cases and expenditure proposals to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure outputs.
  • Offer financial insights to support decision-making processes across various teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will possess a strong finance background and demonstrate confidence in interpersonal interactions.

Essential Qualifications

  • AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification.

Training and Development

Upon joining, candidates will be required to gain knowledge of MOD financial procedures and complete necessary training.
