About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Care Team Leader in Lanarkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of frontline staff to support individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their personal outcomes and live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of frontline staff to deliver high-quality support services to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement person-centred plans to support individuals to achieve their personal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external care professionals to ensure seamless support services.
  • Manage individual budgets and create robust service designs and support strategies.
  • Provide excellent organisational skills and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience working with adults and children with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, and physical support needs.
  • Experience in using person-centred planning techniques and delivering excellent support practices.
  • Strong facilitation skills to encourage staff teams to take ownership and responsibility for the quality of support they deliver.
  • Effective communication skills to work with individuals, staff teams, families, and external care professionals.
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.
