We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Management Team Leader to join our team at North Lanarkshire Council. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Transportation department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our parking management strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Council's parking management strategy, working closely with stakeholders and external partners to deliver improved outcomes for parking initiatives and projects.
- Lead the delivery of Decriminalised Parking Enforcement duties, including waiting, loading, and pavement parking regulations.
- Develop and promote Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) within the wider Transportation team.
- Respond to parking enquiries from elected members and the general public.
- HND, Degree, or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject.
- Substantial knowledge and experience within a relevant field.
- Proven track record of delivering projects and service priorities, including achieving project milestones and targets.
- Experience of developing successful working relationships with contractors and professional service providers.
- Ability to plan, track, and communicate progress on projects.
- Capital and revenue budgetary experience, including preparation, monitoring, and control arrangements.
