Job Title: Plumbing Assessor/Trainer

Bath College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Assessor/Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Apprenticeship Programme, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in the plumbing and heating trade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training and assessment to apprentices in the plumbing and heating trade
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry partners
  • Contribute to the development of apprenticeship programmes and curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate the performance of apprentices
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices to ensure they meet the required standards
Requirements:
  • Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in a heating and plumbing discipline
  • Assessor to demonstrate a commitment to complete the TAQA Assessor Award within 12 months
  • Industry qualifications must include: CENWAT (Domestic Boilers etc), CCN/1 (Domestic Core Safety), CKR (Cookers), HTR1 (Domestic Fires), MET1 (Meters), CONGLP1 (LPG)
