Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Assessor/Trainer to join our team at Bath College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality apprenticeship programme in plumbing, including supporting classroom theory and workshop practical teaching sessions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with a Level 3 qualification and industry certifications such as CENWAT, CCN/1, CKR, HTR1, MET1, and CONGLP1. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with apprentices, employers, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver apprenticeship training and assessment in plumbing, including classroom theory and workshop practical sessions.
  • Support apprentices in their learning, providing guidance and feedback to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work with employers to ensure that apprentices are meeting the requirements of the apprenticeship programme.
  • Contribute to the development of the apprenticeship programme, including the design and delivery of training materials.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in plumbing or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CENWAT, CCN/1, CKR, HTR1, MET1, and CONGLP1.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with apprentices, employers, and colleagues.
