You'll be working alongside an experienced team of Client Managers to effectively manage the firm's workload, contributing to all operational aspects during regular managers' meetings.
The OpportunityThis is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The role boasts a unique four-day working week (37.5 hours per week) on a permanent contract.
The firm prides itself on providing a personalized, face-to-face service to its clients, engaging directly with businesses across Scotland. They act as trusted advisors and strategic partners in their clients' businesses, supporting ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities- Reviewing annual accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns
- Building strong client relationships
- Conducting client meetings
- Managing staff workloads
- Providing training to staff members where applicable
You will ideally possess experience in a similar senior role, managing a team within a practice environment. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential. Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues are crucial.
You will demonstrate an exceptional analytical and problem-solving skill set, coupled with meticulous attention to detail. Your determination to meet tight deadlines and provide support to other team members in achieving the same is highly valued.
