About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Brand & Communications Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and typographically rich designs that meet our branding guidelines and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality visual assets for various marketing campaigns, including consumer, brand, and B2B initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Brand and Communication and other team members to ensure design solutions meet our branding standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain and defend our design standards by being a brand guardian and ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales and marketing, as well as external agencies and suppliers to ensure project requests are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the planning of customer marketing activities across all channels and contribute to the creation of marketing collateral that resonates with our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design developments, and creative tools to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the team and wider business.

Requirements:

  • Confidence in working to tight deadlines and delivering high-quality designs consistently.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating design and layout abilities, concepting, and ideation.
  • A 'can-do' attitude to new challenges and taking ownership of requests.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well as part of a remote team with a focus on collaboration and sharing of ideas.
  • Excellent knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, and experience in practicing from conception to execution.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat for digital and print.
  • Knowledge of printing processes and standards.
  • Knowledge of HTML and web design language/UX.
  • Ability to articulate and defend design choices and provide specific and high-level feedback to team members.
  • A strong attention to detail, noticing the little things, such as odd spacing, colors that don't match, and typos.
