Job Title: Therapeutic Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team at a leading local Children's Home company rated Outstanding by Ofsted. As a Therapeutic Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people in our care, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their emotional, physical, and developmental needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to young people with complex needs, including those with trauma, attachment disorders, and other mental health challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage positive life experiences, including education, leisure activities, and social skills development.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people in a similar setting, such as youth work, schools, or social care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, sleepovers, and evening shifts.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £23,000 to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Additional £6,000 per annum (10 x Sleep Ins Month).
