Visitor Centre Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Visitor Centre Team Member to join our team at The Glendronach. As a key member of our visitor centre team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional brand experiences to our guests, including tours of the distillery and tastings.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Experience
- Welcome guests to The Glendronach in a friendly and professional manner.
- Host tours of the production areas and warehousing, providing in-depth information about our distillery and products.
- Confidently present whisky tastings, showcasing our premium spirits and sharing knowledge about our brand.
- Sales and Service
- Promote the sale of our products to guests, including whisky and branded items.
- Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, coffee, and soft drinks, behind the bar.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with daily checks and requirements, maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
- Ensure the Homeplace is kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards at all times.
- Drive safety initiatives, promoting a safe working environment and ensuring all programs and policies are effectively implemented and practiced.
- Representation and Events
- Represent the brand at events off property, promoting our brand and products to a wider audience.
- Experience and Education
- Face to face customer service or retail experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence in dealing with people from all walks of life in a warm and friendly manner.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a methodical manner.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Team player with a keen attention to detail.
- Work Environment
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule to cover a 7-day/week operation.
