Visitor Centre Ambassador

Job Summary:
The Visitor Centre Team Member will be responsible for delivering exceptional brand experiences to guests at The Glendronach distillery. This will include hosting tours of the production areas and warehousing, confidently presenting whisky tastings, and promoting the sale of our products to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests to The Glendronach in a friendly and professional manner.
- Hosting tours of the production areas and warehousing.
- Confidently present whisky tastings.
- Promote the sale of our products to guests including whisky and branded items.
- Prepare and serve drinks including cocktails, coffee and soft drinks behind the bar.
- Ensure compliance with daily checks and requirements.
- Ensure the Homeplace is kept clean, tidy and free from hazards at all times.
- Drive safety initiatives and ensure that safe working conditions exist.
- Ensure compliance with Brown-Forman quality policies, standards, and systems.
- May be required to represent the brand at events off property.
Requirements:
- Face to face customer service or retail experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence in dealing with people from all walks of life in a warm and friendly manner.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a methodical manner.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Team player with keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule to cover a 7-day/week operation.
