About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recovery Support Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a leading health and social care provider, we take pride in the services we offer and are committed to supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

The successful candidate will provide recovery-focused support to service users in accordance with their individualized support plans. This will involve delivering services and interventions in a person-centered, non-judgmental manner, and working collaboratively with the service user's circle of support to enable them to achieve their life goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to service users, including administering medication and daily record keeping
  • Run group activities and help with inducting new staff members
  • Uphold the cleanliness of the service to adhere to infection prevention control measures
  • Work in a flexible manner on a roster basis, including office hours, evenings, some weekends, and sleep-ins
Requirements

We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and professional individual who is highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support service users with mental health and complex care needs. Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable but not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to support individuals in their recovery and have a can-do attitude. They will be a good communicator, able to get on with people of all ages and from all backgrounds, and will also be liaising with other professionals.
