GKN Aerospace is a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, and we're seeking a talented Commercial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Programme Team, you'll provide commercial expertise and support to our top-tier Aerospace clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Support new bidding activity, including business model development and commercial proposal creation.
  • Manage and maintain the company order book to reflect customer purchase order requirements.
  • Ensure commercial correspondence files are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Contribute to internal reporting requirements and maintain key performance metrics.
  • Support change negotiations with customers and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Review customer MRP and conclude on demand changes, checking against contractual conditions.
  • Manage opportunities to improve the business case and adhere to program management standards.

Requirements

  • Business and/or finance qualification with relevant experience.
  • Commercially savvy with a good understanding of key financial principles.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLookups and Pivot tables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
