GKN Aerospace is a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, and we're seeking a talented Commercial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Programme Team, you'll provide commercial expertise and support to our top-tier Aerospace clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Support new bidding activity, including business model development and commercial proposal creation.
  • Manage and maintain the company order book, reflecting customer purchase order requirements.
  • Ensure commercial correspondence files are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Contribute to internal reporting requirements, maintaining key performance metrics.
  • Support change negotiations with customers and ensure timely payment.
  • Review customer MRP and update demand as part of MPS, adhering to contractual conditions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the business case and contribute to process development.

Requirements

  • Business and/or finance qualification, with relevant work experience.
  • Commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLookups and Pivot tables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
