Stock Control Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Assistant to join our team at Adecco for a 1-year fixed term contract.

This role will see you support the Inventory Manager to ensure material supply meets our customer demand and factors in fluctuations in volume over time.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the duties include:

  • Raising and processing Purchase Orders for replenishment of inventory and non-stock items.
  • Raising and processing orders for items that require either Kitting, Assembly, or Re-work.
  • Maintaining and updating field information on SAP using the Intelligent Stock Report.
  • Inputting data as required.
  • Running stock reports and updating on a regular basis.
  • Working closely with the Inventory Manager to identify excessive and non-stock customer requirements.
  • Informing the Inventory Manager of any specific customer order supply problems and advising on status and alternatives.
  • Being proactive in supplier expediting both on overdue and not yet due Purchase Orders.
  • Resolving any supplier cost variances or reporting to the Inventory Manager for further action.
  • Proactively managing supplier forecasts with the Project Managers.
  • Preparing and updating reports and summaries, as required, related to Inventory and Purchase receipts.
  • Advising and informing on all Inventory and Purchasing related matters that assist in the decision-making processes.
  • Building and maintaining good verbal relationships with supplier contacts.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of SAP across supply chain functions and the interaction with other modules.
  • IT literacy in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Computer skills, such that training of others can be carried out.
