Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take a lead role in planning, developing, and maintaining support systems, procedures, and policies. They will also be responsible for line management within the administrative team, holding regular team meetings, and undertaking recruitment, induction, appraisal, training, and mentoring responsibilities.

Additionally, the candidate will lead in the development and maintenance of record/information systems, analyze and evaluate data, and produce detailed reports/information. They will also be responsible for producing and responding to complex correspondence, overseeing annual and in-year admissions procedures, and providing organizational and complex advisory support to the Governing Body.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience working in an office environment at senior level, with a good understanding of databases, including the ability to use databases to produce reports and statistics. They will also have experience of using Microsoft Office Suite, Bromcom or other MIS, and working with the general public.

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual who can manage complex administrative procedures, including the completion and submission of complex forms, returns, and contracts. The candidate will also be responsible for selecting and managing resources, providing advice and guidance to staff and others on complex issues, and leading in the marketing and promotion of the school.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to present the professional and welcoming face of the Academy to all visitors, staff, and students. They will also be responsible for ensuring all visitors for the Principal are welcomed and catered for in a professional manner, and that all correspondence to the Principal is managed efficiently and accurately.
