**About the role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Education Support Officer to join our team within the Specialist Provision Centre at Rushen Primary School where you will work closely with our Specialist Provision Centre Manager, Teachers and team to plan and deliver aspects of the curriculum for pupils who may have social/emotional, behavioural, physical, sensory and/or learning difficulties.

You will support, follow and contribute to individual education plans, working with small groups or one-to-one with pupils. You’ll also set up activities for the day and take pupils out on trips, helping them learn life skills.

Our pupils are very much part of the wider school community and join their mainstream peers for some lessons, lunches, assemblies and other school events. Some pupils also spend time in mainstream classes during the week, with staff working closely together to ensure this is successful.
