Job Title: Education Support Professional

Satis Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils in our client Primary & Secondary schools in St. Helens.

This temporary/part-time or full-time opportunity offers various schedules available from daily to short or long term.

The ideal candidate will have level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications or be a recent graduate looking for a rewarding role where every day is different.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils identified by the class teacher.
  • Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) to provide additional support.
  • Occasionally participate in school outings and events.
  • Maintain order and manage challenging behaviour in groups of pupils.
Requirements:
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience supporting pupils across Key Stages EYFS-4 or relevant youth work.
  • Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or willingness to obtain.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Overseas police check, if applicable.

**Salary:** The salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
