We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
- Site Maintenance: Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is clean, tidy, and in a reasonable state of repair, including general external maintenance tasks.
- Contractor Management: Assist the facilities team with the control of contractors, ensuring they are signed in correctly, signed out, and adhering to site policies and rules.
- Site Operations: Responsible for opening and/or closing the building as required.
- Brand Representation: Represent Chartwells - Independent and maintain a positive brand image.
- Health and Safety: Comply with Health & Safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Adaptability: Be adaptable and easily embrace changing priorities.
- Communication Skills: Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships.
- Initiative: Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner.
