Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering turnkey automation systems for special purpose machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and Creo.
  • Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and project reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar design engineering role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and experience with special purpose machinery or automation systems.
