Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

The client is proud to be the largest manufacturer and supplier of welding machines in the UK.

This role involves designing and detailing special purpose jigs and fixtures, machine automation, and machine parts utilizing SolidWorks.

The successful candidate will report to the Design Manager and work closely with the production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and detail special purpose jigs and fixtures
  • Develop machine automation and machine parts
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes
  • Work closely with the Design Manager to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
