The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team in Glasgow. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live independently and participate in a range of activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Develop and implement tailored care and support plans
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities and achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilience and patience when working with individuals who may exhibit challenging behavior
  • Ability to think creatively and develop new ideas and activities
