About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to join our team at La Fosse, a trusted organisation leading in the delivery of data-driven AI products and services across public sector clients.

This is a critical role for our organisation as we launch a new chapter in our journey, becoming the top innovation partner for the public sector. With this in mind, we are looking for a seasoned Sales Lead to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, particularly targeting Local Government and Authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales efforts for the public sector, specifically targeting Local Government.
  • Work with short, medium, and long sales cycles and manage sales through a sometimes-detailed procurement process.
  • Develop and lead customer relationships.
  • Identify, drive, and close opportunities within the agreed market area, working closely with pre-sales, bid management, and sales support teams.
  • Sell the complete solution portfolio, including products and services.
  • Manage all forecasting and account/opportunity detail within Salesforce.
Requirements
  • 4-5+ years' experience in public sector sales, particularly in selling software or technology products.
  • A network within the public sector and a deep understanding of decision-making processes within government organisations.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (in the public sector).
  • A strong understanding of the Local Government landscape in the UK.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
