About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our team at Thales. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Architecture
    • Develop and maintain software architecture designs and documentation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software architecture aligns with business objectives
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software development teams
    • Ensure software development teams are following best practices and industry standards
  • System Design
    • Design and develop software systems that meet customer requirements
    • Collaborate with system engineers to ensure software systems integrate with other systems
  • Performance and Security
    • Ensure software systems meet performance and security requirements
    • Collaborate with security teams to ensure software systems are secure
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and architecture
    • Experience with software design patterns and principles
  • Skills
    • Proficient in software development languages such as C++ and C
    • Experience with software development tools such as Visual Studio, IBM DOORS, and IBM Rhapsody
    • Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
  • Certifications
    • SC Clearance
