Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction and inputs to the electrical team, reviewing and approving engineering documents, and ensuring compliance with company and client procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the electrical team.
- Review and approve engineering documents, including calculations, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company and client procedures, as well as applicable industry standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead on project technical decisions and coordinate electrical activities with other engineering disciplines.
- Attend internal and external project review meetings and monitor changes in scope of work.
- Input to project schedules and cost estimates, and identify scope of work required to undertake a project.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on electrical design and engineering principles.
- Engineering degree or relevant industry experience.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to interface and liaise with key client and internal stakeholders.
- Significant experience in detailed design engineering, including cable sizing calculations and electrical studies.
- Strong knowledge of HV systems and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications and exposure to mentoring junior team members.
