Job OpportunityWe are seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical direction and inputs to electrical team personnel.
- Review and approve engineering documents, such as calculations, specifications, datasheets, and reports, to ensure compliance with specification and functional integrity.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Lead on project technical decisions.
- Co-ordinate Electrical activities with other engineering disciplines.
- Attend internal and external project review meetings.
- Monitor changes in scope of work and raise change notifications with Project Managers.
- Input to project schedules and cost estimates.
- Identification of scope of work required to undertake a project.
- Estimation of deliverables and hours required to deliver a project.
- Mentor junior members of the Electrical team.
- Engineering degree or relevant industry experience.
- Significant, demonstrable experience in detailed design engineering.
- Experience of carrying out cable sizing calculations using Amtech, Electrical, OM, or similar software.
- Experienced in electrical studies, including load studies, fault studies, and protection co-ordination using ETAP or similar software.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications.
- Exposure to mentoring of junior team members and apprentices.
