Job Summary

Mountjoy is seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for undertaking responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to our clients' properties, including social housing, schools, public conveniences, offices, heritage, and museums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of general ground working repairs and associated works to occupied homes, buildings, and empty properties.
  • Install concrete and slab pathways, minor brick work, various types of fencing, and washing line replacements.
  • Clear mains drainage and perform other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Be a competent tradesperson with the necessary tools and equipment.
  • Have technical, statutory, and legislative knowledge for the trades performed, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and compliance.
  • Have knowledge of building materials and methods.
  • 2-5 years of experience in social housing or building maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Groundwork Training Course - NVQ Level 2 Construction.
  • Trade-based experience may be considered.
