Groundworker Job Opportunity

Mt. Joy is seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for undertaking responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to Portsmouth City Council's (PCC) Housing and Corporate Assets stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a wide variety of general ground working repairs, and associated works to occupied homes, buildings, and empty properties.
  • Install concrete and slab pathways, minor brick work, various types of fencing, and washing line replacements.
  • Clear mains drainage.
Requirements
  • Be a competent tradesperson with the necessary tools and knowledge of materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry.
  • Have 2-5 years of experience in Social Housing or Building Maintenance.
  • Hold a Groundwork Training Course - NVQ Level 2 Construction qualification or trade-based experience.
  • Hold a full, clean current driving license.
