Groundworker Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Groundworker to join our team in Portsmouth. This permanent position offers the chance to contribute to essential repairs and maintenance projects across various properties managed by Portsmouth City Council.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out responsive and routine repairs on a range of property types, including social housing, schools, offices, and museums.
- Perform general ground working tasks, such as concrete and slab pathway installations, minor brickwork, fencing replacements, and washing line installations.
- Clear mains drainage systems to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven competence in relevant trades with a strong understanding of technical and legislative requirements.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in building maintenance, specifically in groundwork tasks.
- Completion of a Groundwork Training Course or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driving license.
