Lead Play Facilitator

Salary: Ark Support Scale band 1: Pay Point 2 (pro rata) £6,032.52 based on the full-time equivalent of £25,

Working pattern: Part Time (term time only).

About the Role:

As a Lead Play Facilitator, you will oversee students during their recreational periods, fostering engaging play and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the children is consistently prioritized. This role is conducted under the guidance of the vice principal, contributing to a constructive and inclusive educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage playground activities for students from reception to Year 6.
  • Monitor play by actively engaging with pupils.
  • Ensure a secure and enjoyable playtime by organizing games and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
  • Supervise students in designated indoor areas during inclement weather.
  • Attend to minor injuries and incidents.
  • Support the team’s effective functioning through adaptability and collaboration.
  • Participate in training sessions as required, either on-site or at alternative locations.
  • Provide regular updates to the Vice Principal to ensure the safety and well-being of the pupils.
