Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the University of Oxford. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and developing novel methodologies for analysis and data collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data arising from our research program, including NGS, qPCR, and RNA-seq data, as well as electronic health records.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models for patient stratification and informatics structures to manage large datasets.
  • Produce high-quality scientific reports and publications for top-tier journals.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to advance our research in functional genomics and susceptibility to complex disease.
Requirements
  • PhD/DPhil in Bioinformatics, Statistical Genetics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in computational genomics and/or bioinformatics, with a strong publication record.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to think critically about scientific analysis.
  • Strong programming skills, with experience in at least one programming language.
About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 30 September 2027, funded by the Danaher Corporation. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and contribute to the advancement of our field.
