Director of Sales

**Job Summary**
Every Step Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and manage our Client's Sales function and drive high growth sales targets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to achieve revenue targets, managing and motivating a team of sales executives, and building strong relationships with external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
- Manage and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure targets are consistently met
- Hold regular team meetings and one-to-ones to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Identify and resolve any issues that could threaten the successful execution of the sales plan
- Work closely with internal teams, such as Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to achieve consistent and sustainable growth
- Continuously drive efficiencies and service improvements to enhance the sales function
**Requirements**
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, preferably in an inbound or telesales environment
- A minimum of 5 years' recent experience as a sales manager or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of having complete accountability for delivering revenue targets (£ Millions)
- Solid experience developing and managing a sizeable sales team and extracting high performance
- Excellent motivational skills to keep the team's energy levels and sales drive high
- A natural problem solver with the ability to handle fundamental sales issues and get the best from the sales team
- Excellent communication skills
- A real drive and determination to achieve and exceed targets
