**Job Summary**

Every Step Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and manage our Client's Sales function and drive high growth sales targets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to achieve revenue targets, managing and motivating a team of sales executives, and building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure targets are consistently met
  • Hold regular team meetings and one-to-ones to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Identify and resolve any issues that could threaten the successful execution of the sales plan
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to achieve consistent and sustainable growth
  • Continuously drive efficiencies and service improvements to enhance the sales function

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, preferably in an inbound or telesales environment
  • A minimum of 5 years' recent experience as a sales manager or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of having complete accountability for delivering revenue targets (£ Millions)
  • Solid experience developing and managing a sizeable sales team and extracting high performance
  • Excellent motivational skills to keep the team's energy levels and sales drive high
  • A natural problem solver with the ability to handle fundamental sales issues and get the best from the sales team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A real drive and determination to achieve and exceed targets
