Senior Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at CV Library in Winchester. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects from tendering stage through to delivery.

The Role:

  1. Manage engineering, design, and turnkey projects.
  2. Carry out successful administration and management of all allocated contracts.
  3. Monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered to budget and programme.
  4. Manage suppliers and sub-contractors for manufacturing, fabrication, and specialist services.
  5. Manage all project functions including design, engineering, procurement, sub-contracted manufacture, build, testing, and installation.
  6. Manage change in scope and ensure appropriate compensation is received.
  7. Responsible for overall quality and management of projects and programmes.
  8. Manage budget and ensure financial accountability on nominated projects.
  9. Line management of other team members, including one-to-ones and appraisals.

Requirements:

  1. Must be eligible for SC clearance.
  2. Must have extensive project management and/or programme management experience.
  3. Must have experience working in a highly regulated industry such as defence, nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, machinery design, or similar.

The Package:

  • Salary - £45,000-£64,000 (DOE).
  • Car allowance (£4,800).
  • 08:30-17:00 (Monday-Thursday) 08:30-16:30 (Friday).
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
