Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer / Manager to join our team at On Line Group. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate multi-discipline cross-functional teams to deliver projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Proactively manage change and nurture relationships with clients built on trust.
  • Keep senior management informed of issues and risks, and generate project and board reports.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Ensure successful project delivery through effective problem-solving and issue escalation.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree recognized by an institution, ideally Chartered Engineer or working towards such.
  • Project Management qualification, APM, Prince 2, PMI, or equivalent, or working towards such.
  • Understanding of project disciplines and ability to plan work to achieve project goals.
  • Typically 5-10 years of experience in a project role or process role, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Good subject knowledge of chemical/biochemical process plants and ability to liaise with technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate others and work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.

  • Team player with ability to build relationships quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook and ability to work independently.
  • Well-presented, business-like, reliable, tolerant, and determined to succeed.

Other Requirements:

  • Legally permitted to live and work in the UK.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel for up to a few days a month within the UK.
