About the Role:
As an Events and Meetings Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly to provide an outstanding experience for guests and members. Your responsibilities will include supporting tasks outlined in function sheets and assisting in achieving departmental goals. Specifically, you will be expected to perform the following duties to the highest standards:
- Coordinate events and meetings effectively
- Work across various areas including the bar, restaurant, and room service
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- Adhere to cash handling procedures
- Address guest inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas
- Ensure compliance with brand standards
- Support departmental needs and collaborate with team members
- Follow hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
- Comply with local licensing laws
- Be environmentally conscious
- Assist other departments as needed and foster positive working relationships
