About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Fraud Investigator to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our Claims Fraud team, you will be responsible for investigating complex fraud claims, developing and implementing strategies to advance our fraud capability, and providing coaching and mentoring to junior investigators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate complex fraud claims, including fraud ring operations and high-value cases, to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Work closely with the Technical Fraud Team Leader to ensure that investigations are conducted to the highest possible standard.
  • Develop and implement strategies to advance our complex fraud capability, using the latest tools and techniques to investigate fraudulent claims.
  • Act as a referral point for junior investigators, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to help them develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Previous experience investigating claims fraud, with a strong understanding of fraud prevention and detection techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
