Mortgage Completions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Completions Manager to join our team at Quantum Group. This is a permanent position based in Harrow.
Job Role:
Manage a pipeline of cases in a fast-paced environment dealing with workflows and prioritizing accordingly. Liaise with internal (Underwriters, Credit Admin, Risk, Branches, and BDMs) and external (Solicitors, Customers, Brokers, Valuers) stakeholders to ensure smooth assessment and completion of Buy to Let applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and Resolve Completion Queries
Review all necessary legal documents and completion queries such as search reports and indemnity insurances from the solicitor, providing both written and verbal responses to support completion.
Liaise with StakeholdersLiaise with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally, such as underwriters, valuers, and solicitors, to obtain information to progress cases to completion.
Manage Queries and EscalationsBe the first point of contact for solicitors and brokers following the issuing of the formal mortgage offer and manage queries related to offer conditions.
Understand and Apply BTL Credit PolicyGain a full understanding of the BTL credit policy to resolve completion queries and manage escalations where necessary.
Support Legal ConditionsSupport the satisfaction of legal conditions of the mortgage offer in line with the Bank's lending policy and case requirements.
Monitor and Manage DeadlinesMonitor and manage upcoming expiration of valuations, credit searches, and offers.
Assist in Completion ProcessingAssist the solicitors and completions support team for smooth processing and completion of the case.
Release Completion FundsSupport the processing team in the release of completion funds, ensuring deadlines are met and funds released as scheduled.
Manage Pipeline and ForecastProactively manage a pipeline of offered and legally instructed cases and provide monthly completions forecasts to management.
Liaise with Brokers and IntermediariesLiaise with brokers and intermediaries for any outstanding requirements to ensure the progression of a case.
Ensure Smooth ProgressionEnsure cases are smoothly progressing from offer to completion.
Liaise with Internal TeamsLiaise with internal teams, e.g., Business, Credit Admin, Compliance, Products, Audit, etc., during the process.
Communicate with Customers and BrokersKeep customers and brokers informed of the progress of post-offer applications and explain the bank's timelines and requirements throughout the process.
Maintain MIS ReportsPrepare and maintain MIS for the BTL department as a whole.
Support Senior ManagementAssist CCO/CBO/Head Underwriter in preparing various PPTs and reports for presentation to various authorities and committees related to the BTL portfolio.
