About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality and Catering Lead to join our team at dnata Catering UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production and assembly of meals and kits in line with scheduled activity and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage quality, safety, and security standards effectively throughout all stages of the Internal Supply process.
  • Coordinate Period End stock take activity and undertake briefings as required to ensure accuracy is maintained.
  • Design and review the effectiveness of contingency plans when changes to assembly are required.
  • Ensure effective wastage management and provide, analyze, and review information as required to meet financial targets.
  • Manage the performance of your team to achieve targets and seek further productivity improvements.
  • Effectively review process performance and monitor team and individual performance on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis.
  • Coach and support staff, monitor performance, and ensure corrective action plans are introduced and reviewed as required.
  • Ensure all documents are created and controlled in line with required procedures.
  • Design, monitor, and review plans to implement changes to customer requirements.
Requirements
  • People management skills, e.g., dealing with performance issues, grievances, holidays, and absence management.
  • Computer literate.
  • An understanding of Food Safety procedures.
