Berkshire Healthcare is in search of a committed Podiatry Office Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. We are looking for individuals who possess outstanding customer service abilities and thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, organizational capabilities, and adaptability. They will play a crucial role in managing patient referrals and scheduling appointments, ensuring a welcoming and efficient atmosphere for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the processing of referrals for both inpatient and outpatient services for the Podiatry Team, including scheduling multidisciplinary team clinic appointments.
- Collaborate with relevant services to assist patients as necessary, including transport services, interpretation services, and other outpatient departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ward personnel, and other hospital departments reaching out to the podiatry unit.
- Gather and compile data and statistics to aid management in shaping service delivery.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of patients, the service, and podiatrists.
- Support colleagues in delivering a high-quality, effective, and compassionate service.
