Payment Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payment Operations Associate to join our team on a 1-year maternity cover FTC. As a key member of our international payments team, you will be responsible for processing international payments, including funding control, nostro control, and SWIFT authorisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Process international payments outsourced from European offices, ensuring accurate funding and nostro control.
- Authorise and monitor SWIFT payments, adhering to internal procedures.
- Understand and manage nostro accounts and funding concepts.
- Proven experience in international/cross-border payments.
- Familiarity with Swift MX and MT messages.
- Strong payment approval skills.
- Desirable: experience working in banking and customer-centric career experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
