Job Title: Payments Specialist

MW Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Payments Specialist to join our team. As a Payments Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems and processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective controls to mitigate risks associated with payment processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Prepare and manage questionnaire responses from regulatory bodies
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on payment processing activities
  • Analyze CHAPS activities and identify relevant risks
  • Develop and implement remediation actions to mitigate identified risks
  • Provide support to the first line of defence in identifying and managing risks
Requirements:
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry with a proven track record in payment processing
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and CHAPS payment processing and relevant global payment schemes
  • Project management experience
  • Risk and controls experience
