Payments Specialist

MW Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Payments Specialist to join our team. As a Payments Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to document and assess the effectiveness of controls related to CHAPS, a key payment scheme in the UK. You will work closely with our team to identify and mitigate risks associated with CHAPS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in SWIFT and CHAPS payment processing will be invaluable in this role. Additionally, you will provide support to our first line of defence in identifying and managing risks, as well as designing and testing controls. If you have a strong background in finance, economics, or accounting, and experience in the financial services industry, we encourage you to apply. Your project management skills and experience in risk and controls will be highly valued. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team environment.
