About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of IT systems and possess essential IT skills.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to engage effectively with service users and their significant others in demanding environments.
- Conduct thorough assessments of mental health presentations and accurately profile risk levels.
- Foster positive collaborative relationships within multidisciplinary teams across all service areas.
- Maintain strict confidentiality where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with families, friends, and significant others to assess needs and develop intervention plans.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the principles of equal opportunities in service delivery.
- Prepare clear and concise clinical records and disseminate information effectively to relevant agencies.
Essential Criteria
- Adhere to and exemplify the Trust Values.
- Possess the ability to travel efficiently within the designated area.
- Demonstrate flexibility, support, and willingness to assume new roles within NELFT as per your knowledge, education, and skills, when required.
Desirable Criteria
- Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving license.
