Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Vision Care Assistant to become a vital member of our dedicated team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the clinical staff to ensure the smooth operation of eye care clinics, performing diagnostic assessments while upholding exceptional standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating the management of pre- and post-operative clinical sessions.
  • Serving as a theatre runner/escort to guarantee that patients receive top-notch care and that the surgical team is supported during procedures.
  • Assisting patients throughout their experience with CHEC and addressing any concerns that may arise.
  • Ensuring all medical equipment is inspected and prepared for use.
  • Setting up all areas prior to clinical activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to high standards of patient care quality.
